Kariakoo Market Corporation is an autonomous Government Institution

established under the Kariakoo Market Corporation Act no 36 of 1974

(Revised by the Act No 16 of 1985, to manage and control the Kariakoo

Market and establish and manage other markets in the City of Dar es Salaam.

Administratively the Kariakoo Market Corporation reports to the

President’s office Regional Administration and Local Government.

Kariakoo Markets Corporation invites applications from qualified

Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions:-

3 Internal Auditor - I post

Minimum qualification is Bachelor degree or Advance diploma in

Accounting or Finance or

Possession of CPA (T) ACCA or equivalent. Registered member to the board

of Accountancy

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in the preparation of audit unit work program and calendar for audit
• Conduct internal audit works as assigned by head of unit
• Assist in preparation and updating of internal Audit plans and programs
• Prepares internal audit working paper files and draft audit reports for each assignment conducted.
• Conduct financial operation performance and value for money audit.
• Audits business dealings to determine compliance with the corporation policy rules, and regulations.
• Prepares draft internal audit reports for Chief Internal Auditor.
• Performs such other duties as will be assigned by the Chief Internal Auditor.
