established under the Kariakoo Market Corporation Act no 36 of 1974

(Revised by the Act No 16 of 1985, to manage and control the Kariakoo

Market and establish and manage other markets in the City of Dar es Salaam.

Administratively the Kariakoo Market Corporation reports to the

President’s office Regional Administration and Local Government.

Kariakoo Markets Corporation invites applications from qualified

Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions:-

5. Senior ICT Analyst- I post

Minimum qualification: Bachelor degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer

Sciences, Business

Information Systems or equivalent from any reputable institution, three

years working

experience.

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Manage information technology and computer systems in the corporation.
• Plan ,Organize, Control ,Evaluate and Coordinate IT and electronic data operation
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup system.
• Advises on purchasing of ICT appliances
• Performs monitoring and review of system performance
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate IT systems in the corporation
• Develops and improves service delivery in line with the corporation strategies on the use of ICT system.
• Troubleshoots and solves ICT incidents and problems
• Develops and improve ICT skills
•  Develops technology and practice and proactively promotes charges to improve ICT services in the corporation.
