Madrasa Early Childhood Programme - Zanzibar (MECP-Z) is the leading civil society organization in the field of Early Childhood Development in Zanzibar and mainland Tanzania. With over 25 years' expenence, MECP-Z is implementing a rcbust portfolio of pre-primary education programmes, teacher training courses, research and technical advisory services. In 2013, MECP-Z established a Teacher Centre that offers certificate programme on pre-primary education. MECP-Z collaborates closely with the government, development partners and other institutions including Aga Rhan Foundation (AKF).
