ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES OFFICER (1POSITION) at NATIONAL AIDS CONTROL PROGRAM (NACP)

     

Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MOHCDGEC) through CDC/PEPFAR, Immunization and Vaccine Development Program (IVD) and Global Fund Grants, are looking for enthusiastic, creative and energetic individuals whom will work under contractual agreement to fill the following vacant positions:-

NATIONAL AIDS CONTROL PROGRAM (NACP)

5. JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES OFFICER (1POSITION)

Location: Dodoma

Reporting to: Head Administration Unit, NACP

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

i. Prepare annual procurement plan for the CoAg.

ii. Maintain stores.

iii. Keep store records of all materials procured and developed at the national level.

iv. Produce reports quarterly on materials supplied and those in the store.

 Experience and Qualifications:

i. Advanced Diploma or Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management.

ii. Good interpersonal and leadership skills

iii. Computer literacy will be an added advantage.

iv. At least two years working experience in Procurement and Logistics Management.

v. Strong communication including proficiency in English and Kiswahili languages.

vi. Age limit: 50 years.

 Terms of Employment: 3 months Contract (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds)

v. Applicants should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.

vi. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education should be verified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania

(NECTA) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).

vii. Certificates from Foreign Universities should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).

viii. Applicants with special needs/case (disability) are supposed/advised to indicate.

ix. Presentation of forged certificates and other information will necessitate to legal action.
