Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MOHCDGEC) through CDC/PEPFAR, Immunization and Vaccine Development Program (IVD) and Global Fund Grants, are looking for enthusiastic, creative and energetic individuals whom will work under contractual agreement to fill the following vacant positions:-
NATIONAL TUBERCULOSIS AND LEPROSY PROGRAM (NTLP)
1. JOB TITLE: TB/HIV COORDINATOR (1 POSITION)
Location: Dodoma
Reporting to: Program Manager
i. Coordinate and monitor implementation of TB /HIV collaborative activitiesin the country.
ii. Take lead in writing grant proposals for funding request for TB/HIV collaborative activities under CDC PEPFAR support.
iii. Take lead in the development of technical guidelines and tools for TB/HIV collaborative services.
iv. Provide technical support and guidance to regions and partners in implementation of TB/HIV collaborative activities.
v. Coordinate and conduct TB/HIV trainings and supportive supervisions on TB/HIV activities.
vi. Prepare periodic financial and technical reports.
vii. Any other duties as assigned by the Program Manager
i. Degree in Medicine or Dental Surgery with Master of Public health or MSC. Epidemiology.
ii. At least two years working experience in HIV care and treatment including TB/HIV.
iii. Experience in management of infectious disease such as TB and TB/HIV
iv. Experience working with Councils and regional health management teams
v. Experience working with development partners such as GF,CDC/PEPFAR, Interacting with them within the Government’s structures
vi. Good interpersonal and leadership skills
vii. Familiar with the tools and methodology used for both quantitative and qualitative data
viii. Having ability to interact and work with different people
ix. Strong communication skills, good data visualization skills and creative presentation techniques
x. Proficient in using Microsoft office applications, advanced excel is an added advantage.
xi. Age limit: 50 years

vi. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education should be verified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania
(NECTA) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).
vii. Certificates from Foreign Universities should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
viii. Applicants with special needs/case (disability) are supposed/advised to indicate.
ix. Presentation of forged certificates and other information will necessitate to legal action.
