 To coordinate and monitor agriculture and rural lending activities with a view to maximizing the impact of agricultural growth by working closely with the Ministries and institutions responsible for Agriculture, Regional Administration as well as the numerous players active in this sector; </div>

 To assist the Government in implementing its policies on enhancing financial inclusion and economic empowerment in the rural areas. </div>

<b><span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><u>ZONAL MANAGER – 2 Vacancies (1 Dodoma, 1 Mwanza) </u></span></b><br />
<b><u>Nature and Scope: </u></b>The successful candidate will report to the Director of Credit and Business Management. He/She will have overall responsibility for the development and management of corporate relationships in the zone. He/she will also be responsible for the day to day administrative services of the Zonal Office.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Key Responsibilities </u></b><br />
 Identify companies/institutions of good credit standing likely to have a requirement for the corporate banking services of TADB;<br />
 Identify business opportunities and develop good customer relationships including cross selling of all TADB products, to achieve set targets;<br />
 Prepare credit proposals for long term, Medium term and short term facilities within agreed quality and timescales;<br />
 Collect, evaluate and document all required customer information and process credit approvals;<br />
 Maintain client relationships including visiting existing customers monthly, and not less than once every quarter;<br />
 Prepare report on each customer visit, highlighting all major business/environmental issues pertaining to the credit/customer, and including recommendations as appropriate;<br />
 Assist clients applying for any of the bank’s facilities and services;<br />
 Advise clients on financial and economic issues that could affect their businesses and/or the bank facilities;  Process transactions, and liaise with relevant departments for documentation and conclusion of deals;<br />
 Prepare and implement budgets and plans, including setting and achieving ambitious and measurable targets;<br />
 Review work performance of staff in the Zonal Office including their development, deployment, appraisal, training and welfare in line with the bank’s objectives;<br />
 Control expenditure within approved limits;<br />
 Ensure necessary/relevant bank records are kept and updated as required;<br />
 Carry out any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Managing Director from time to time.<br />

<b><u>Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: </u></b><br />
 Master’s Degree in Business Management/Administration, Agribusiness, Finance, Economics, Banking or related discipline. <br />
 At least 5 years working experience of which 2 must be in a senior/managerial position in related field.   Ability to analyze financial and economic data and interpret them;<br />
 Strong written and communication skills with ability to write reports in a concise and focused style.<br />
 Possession of leadership and people management skills, and a team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.<br />
 Self-motivated and able to manage and prioritize work load with minimum supervision.<br />
 Computer literate with highly developed computer application skills.<br />
 Knowledge of the banking industry and its related laws, regulations, policies and procedures will be an added advantage.<br />

<b><span style="color: blue;"><u>1.0 HEAD OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY</u></span></b> – 1 Vacancy, DSM <b><u>Nature and Scope:</u></b> The Head of Information and Communication Technology will report to the Managing Director.  He/She will be responsible for the formulation and implementation of Information Communication Technology (ICT) strategy in order to facilitate and support smooth operations of the bank. <br />

<b><u>Duties and Responsibilities: </u></b><br />
 Plan, develop, implement and manage the integrated ICT strategy to facilitate effective information processing and data management;<br />
 Ensure ICT related investments are able to achieve the expected business objectives at optimal costs;<br />
 Co-ordinate data processing, networking, office automation and external contractors in the provision of efficient computer systems, services and support;<br />
 Plan and upgrade systems installations and introduction of new systems to enhance systems performance, integrity and administration;<br />
 Ensure ICT related risks are maintained at acceptable rates. This includes conducting regular security assessment to identify threats and vulnerabilities, implement appropriate and cost effective security solutions, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies and contractual agreement;<br />
 Ensure ICT resources are properly managed to support current and planned business operations in efficient manner. This includes proper management of people, information, ICT infrastructure and Application Systems;<br />
 Develop the company's information systems training programmes in conjunction with line management and ensure its continuous and effective implementation;<br />
 Ensure business continuity in case of natural or manmade disasters by maintaining active disaster recovery site, latest backups for all application systems;<br />
 Liaise with external information systems contractors as necessary for provision of relevant services to the bank;<br />

Together, we deliver measurable results that disrupt the cycle of poor health.</span><br /><span style="color: #444444;">PATH’s Digital Health team works directly with national governments in low and middle income countries to select, adapt and scale appropriate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for long term use in their country to address health challenges. Our services span the entire software development lifecycle from supporting analysis of digital health needs to the deployment and long-term use of those technologies. The Digital Health team coordinates closely with government ministries of health, the information and communication technology sector, other global health NGOs and donors to improve the governance, design, development, acquisition, implementation, and sustainability of digital health technologies and approaches.</span><br /><span style="color: #444444;">The Tanzanian Government has formulated an “Investment roadmap in data systems and data use in the health sector”, building on the national eHealth Strategy.  The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation expects to support the Government by contributing funding towards a portion of this roadmap through a five-year project coordinated by PATH known as DUP2. </span><br /><br /><b style="color: #444444;">The DUP II project consists of three packages of work:</b><br /><span style="color: #444444;">Working with the Government to put in place and support effective governance and coordination processes for the investment roadmap as a whole.</span><br /><span style="color: #444444;">Demonstration of instituted data use practices including thorough use of digital tools by primary care workers, facility supervisors and health managers.</span><br /><span style="color: #444444;">Supporting data consistency and exchange through enterprise architecture, including through a health worker registry and an administrative area registry.</span><br /><span style="color: #444444;">PATH in Tanzania seeks to recruit a Government Secondee to support the Government in coordination and implementation of the investment roadmap. The Government Secondee will be placed at the President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PORALG).
