<b><span style="color: blue;"><u>SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – 4 Vacancies (2 Dodoma, 2 Mwanza) </u></span></b><br />

The successful candidate will report to the Zonal Manager.  He/she will be responsible for the business development and management of corporate relationships within a zone.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Key Responsibilities  </u></b><br />
 Develop and market the bank’s business through contact with corporate customers, high net-worth individuals, government and quasi-government bodies, and other prospective clients; <br />
 Identify companies/institutions within a zone of good credit standing likely to have a requirement for the corporate banking services of the bank;<br />
 Identify and develop business opportunities with companies/clients at a satisfactory rate of return to the bank;<br />
 Serve clients’ needs through a range of bank’s products and services by originating loans and projects;<br />
 Provide a superior level of customer relations and service; and ensure compliance with bank’s policies and procedures;<br />
 Provide support to driving different business engagements and initiatives within a zone in conjunction with the Zonal Manager;<br />
 Provide support to developing, orchestrating and implementing effective internal and external business strategies;<br />
 Provide support to promoting a pro-business mindset and culture in the Bank’s environment;<br />
 Obtain all the client information necessary for the appraisal of a credit proposition and liaise with Credit Analysts as and when appropriate;<br />
 Assist in preparation of business plans and budgets for the zone;<br />
 Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.<br />

<b><u>Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: </u></b><br />
 University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Finance, Accounts, Banking or related discipline;<br />
 Minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit assessment and/or relationship banking at Officer level;<br />
 Strong computer based analytic skills.<br />
 Strong written and communication skills with ability to write reports in a concise and focused style;<br />
 Good communication and interpersonal skills. </div>

<b><span style="color: blue;"><u>LOAN RECOVERY MANAGER – 1 Vacancy, DSM</u> </span></b><br />
<b><u>Nature and Scope: </u></b><br />
The successful candidate will report to the Director of Credit and Business Management. He/she will be responsible for management of all non-performing and written off loans to maximize recovery and minimize recovery costs in the bank.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Key Responsibilities  </u></b><br />
 Develop, recommends, and implements recovery strategy for the bank;<br />
 Undertake recovery actions timely and in a cost effective manner;<br />
 Review non-performing loan repayment schedule or settlements;<br />
 Liaise with Legal department on the securities pledged and take stock of assets pledged; <br />
 Visit defaulters’ sites and take stock of the assets pledged before any recovery action is recommended;<br />
 Assigns files for legal action or collection agency placement;<br />
 Prepare, recommends for approval loan write offs once all sources of recovery have been exhausted; <br />
 Carry out continuous and on-demand loan recovery activities in the bank.<br />
 Carry out any other related duties as may be assigned to him/her by his/her Supervisor or Managing Director from time to time.<br />

<b><u>Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:</u></b><br />
 Post-Graduate qualifications in Agricultural Economics & Agriculture.<br />
, Rural Development, Agricultural Extension, Rural Sociology, Economics, or related discipline;<br />
 At least five (5) years relevant working experience in a reputable institution, two (2) of which must have been in a managerial position;<br />
 Excellent and well developed interpersonal and organizational skills;<br />
 Strong written and communication skills with ability to write reports in a concise and focused style;<br />
 Must be a team player, very self-motivated and able to manage and prioritize work load with minimum supervision;<br />
 Highly developed Computer skills;<br />
 Possession of knowledge of the banking industry and its related laws, regulations, policies and procedures will be an added advantage. </div>

<b><u>Nature and Scope: </u></b><br />
The successful candidate will report to the Director of Planning, Research and Policy.  He/She will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out studies aimed at enriching the bank’s knowledge and information base to facilitate implementation of its vision, mission and objectives.<br />

<b><u>Key Responsibilities: </u></b><br />
 Coordinate all research and development undertakings of the bank, including technical assistance, studies and advisory services for the bank;  Mobilize financial and technical support for research and capacity building from local, international bilateral and multilateral organizations;<br />
 Conduct research in order to identify financing gaps, challenges and opportunities for product innovation across the agriculture value chains;<br />
 Carry out research on the value chains of various agriculturerelated products and advise on the most feasible and developmental interventions to be made by the bank;<br />
 Undertake market research on potential markets for agricultural produce under value chains of focus to facilitate linkage to farmers;<br />
 Coordinate the bank’s efforts aimed at establishing and maintaining collaborations and partnerships with other development banks for the purpose of sharing knowledge and business;<br />
 Engage with domestic and international research and training institutions in research and capacity building in order to bring about the required transformation in the agricultural sector;<br />
 Facilitate establishment of working relationships and consultative fora between the bank and local as well as international research institutions;<br />
 Build and maintain strong research information/database and network for easy access to key agriculture sector knowledge to facilitate informed decisions;<br />
 Develop and conduct capacity building programmes for lending institutions and smallholder farmer organizations;<br />
 Coordinate strategic partners engaged with youth development and fund mobilization for financing youths’ agriculture-related enterprises;<br />

He/She will have overall responsibility for the development and management of corporate relationships in the zone. Together, we deliver measurable results that disrupt the cycle of poor health.</span><br /><span style="color: #444444;">PATH’s Digital Health team works directly with national governments in low and middle income countries to select, adapt and scale appropriate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for long term use in their country to address health challenges. Our services span the entire software development lifecycle from supporting analysis of digital health needs to the deployment and long-term use of those technologies. The Digital Health team coordinates closely with government ministries of health, the information and communication technology sector, other global health NGOs and donors to improve the governance, design, development, acquisition, implementation, and sustainability of digital health technologies and approaches.</span><br /><span style="color: #444444;">The Tanzanian Government has formulated an “Investment roadmap in data systems and data use in the health sector”, building on the national eHealth Strategy.  The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation expects to support the Government by contributing funding towards a portion of this roadmap through a five-year project coordinated by PATH known as DUP2. </span><br /><br /><b style="color: #444444;">The DUP II project consists of three packages of work:</b><br /><span style="color: #444444;">Working with the Government to put in place and support effective governance and coordination processes for the investment roadmap as a whole.</span><br /><span style="color: #444444;">Demonstration of instituted data use practices including thorough use of digital tools by primary care workers, facility supervisors and health managers.</span><br /><span style="color: #444444;">Supporting data consistency and exchange through enterprise architecture, including through a health worker registry and an administrative area registry.</span><br /><span style="color: #444444;">PATH in Tanzania seeks to recruit a Government Secondee to support the Government in coordination and implementation of the investment roadmap. The Government Secondee will be placed at the President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PORALG).
