Role purpose: 
To develop fit-for-purpose predictive and affordability models, execute and analyse our markets to determine the most effective way to increase customer base whilst minimizing customers at risk of churning, increase customer acquisition, conversion and retention; cross selling and upselling, customer behaviour segmentation, analyse customer feedback from call centre, social network analysis. Increase of M-Pesa product penetration, customer engagement, increase M-Pesa ARPU and sharing insights. 
 
Key accountabilities

<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Use an agile approach to determine the best use of data to develop predictive models and perform analysis in line with business requirements (e.g. customer churn; customer acquisition and retention; cross selling and upselling; customer behaviour segmentation; analyse customer feedback from call centre, social network analysis; etc.)</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;"> Develop data processes to mine value from a variety of data sources that include high-volume, transactional-level data.</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Provide analytical support to various other business teams.</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Collaborate with reporting team, business development team, product engineers, and CBU where necessary to facilitate data analysis.</li>

Intern: Executive Education Department</h2>
Purpose: 
Through its Internship Programme, UONGOZI Institute seeks to engage a recent graduate in the Department of Executive Education. Successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day activities of the Department, including designing, developing and evaluating leadership development programmes and conducting research on areas of leadership development and sustainable development. 
 
Successful Candidate will gain and/or be exposed to: 
Contemporary leadership development trends and best practices. 
Executive education workshop/event coordination skills. 
Monitoring and evaluation of executive education programmes. 
Writing and communication skills. 
Database management skills. 
Different computer software and programmes for performing different tasks. 
Record-keeping skills (Government record-keeping and filing system). 
Office practices and procedures. 
 
Duration and Work Schedule: 
The selected Intern will be provided with a three-month contract with the possibility of extension if necessary. Some assignments will require traveling. 
 
Qualifications: 
 
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines; Education, Political Science, Human Resource Management, Business Administration and other related Social Science degree. 
Strong verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Swahili. 
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 
 Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 
 Proficiency in MS-Word, Excel and internet search tools. 
Volunteer experience is preferred, although not required.

 Job Description:  Dar es Salaam Warehouse manager Sokowatch is searching for a stellar warehouse manager to be based in Dar es Salaam. They will undertake all aspects of warehouse manager for Sokowatch in Dar es Salaam. The primary goal of this position is to monitor and optimize inventory in Dar es Salaam. Requirement

<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Proven work experience as a warehouse manager for 2 years.</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Proven ability to implement processes improvement initiatives.</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Strong knowledge of the warehousing key performance indicator.</li>

 Key Responsibilities

<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Responsible for the supervision and management of branch level warehouse team</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Responsible for the development and compliance of agreed-upon warehouse standard operating procedures across all warehouse functions (eg. loading, stock reconciliation, cash reconciliation, storage, stock counts)</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Responsible for the management of inventory across all branches. Ensuring each branch is not over/under- stocking on any SKU.</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Responsible for managing the communication flow between branch level warehouse managers and Kenya finance team with regards to timely payment for LPOs.</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Responsible for managing the communication flow between branch level warehouse managers and Supplier procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of requested LPOs.</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Responsible for the tracking and reporting of branch level agent shorts, inventory, and LPOs</li>
<li style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0.25em; padding: 0.25em 0px;">Responsible for the development of branch-level warehouse team budgets (eg. budget for additional personnel, storage capacity, parking capacity, offloading capacity, stock forecasting)</li>

Audit Manager</h2>
 
The Audit Manager is an upper level management position requiring supervisory skills and should have demonstrated capacity in the following:

<li> Conduct contract and business reviews; assess key risks, review management controls, and draft detailed reports.</li>
<li>Prepare audit report and present it to client management.</li>
<li>Manage the full scope of the engagement from planning the best course of action to setting the engagement budgets.</li>
<li>Responsible for the supervision and management of services provided to the client.</li>
<li>Properly staff the engagement and determine the workload responsibilities. Schedule audits, prepare audit strategy, and set the audit budget.</li>
<li>Provide guidance and assistance to the audit engagement staff and assist in resolution of audit findings.</li>
<li>Must possess at least 4 years of audit experience</li>
<li>Must be professionally qualified (CPA.ACCA) and with proven technical expertise and knowledge of accounting software and various IT processes.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to influence.</li>
<li>Train junior auditors in various accounting and audit matters</li>
</ul>
