The Authority is an equal opportunity employer and it intends to recruit qualified, competent, dynamic and self-motivated Tanzanians to fill the following vacant position: 1.0 DIRECTOR OF RAILWAY REGULATION (Head Office) - 1 Post -REF No. DRR/2017 Director of Railway Regulation reports to the Director General 1.1 Duties and Responsibilities • To advise the Director General on railway regulation; • To have overall responsibility for the regulation and monitoring of railway safety and ensuring that railway undertakings maintain adequate safety standards and comply with all relevant railway safety regulation; • To monitor and prevent the abuse of the monopoly position in the railway transport sector; • To coordinate the issuance of licenses to railways transport operators; • To regulate railway tariffs and monitor service standards therein; • To investigate railway accidents and incidents; • To approve new rail infrastructure, rolling stocks and safety systems; • To monitor the adequacy of investment in railway transport and levels of return on investment; • To promote inter-modal transport cooperation; • To contribute and manage the strategic, business planning and budgeting process; • To manage the individual set objectives/targets and performance standards process as part of the individual performance agreement; • To manage the open performance review and appraisal process of subordinates and provide feedback as appropriate; and • To perform any other duties assigned by the Director General 1.2 Minimum qualifications and Requirements: • University Postgraduate Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or its equivalent. • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical ) or its equivalent; • Registered Professional Engineer by Engineers Registration Board (T) with a valid Practicing License; and • At least ten (10) years of working experience, five (5) years of which must be at senior managerial position in a reputable institution (preferable an institution related to the post). 2.0 CANDIDATES’ ATTRIBUTES FOR THE ABOVE VACANT POSITION Candidates for the position to be filled must:  Demonstrate highest degree of integrity;  Possess good communication and interpersonal skills;  Be self driven and capable of working with minimal supervision;  Be capable of delivering excellent results while working under pressure with tight schedules and deadlines; and  Possess basic knowledge in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) applications, such as Microsoft Office package. 3.0 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT Successful candidate will be employed on five (5) years contract including six months of probation, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. 4.0 REMUNERATION Attractive remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates 5.0 MODE OF APPLICATION Applications should be on applicants’ own handwriting indicating the Ref. Job Purpose: 
 
The job holder is responsible for advising on the overall NMB Communications and Public Affairs policy in order to promote the Bank's public image and develop an overall strategy and action plans for Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
•    Be first point of contact for external media relations to ensure positive representation of the bank and its products in all media, including managing media engagement as the bank’s spokesperson and as delegated by the CEO from time to time 
•    Manage protocol for professional and consistent exposure during public appearances of the CEO 
•    Manage the bank’s reputation including crisis management in case of any (potential) matter arising that may threat NMBs good and solid image 
•    Implement a structured programme to facilitate appropriate levels of interaction with a variety of stakeholders, including the public and government officials, lobbying for business purposes, image and policy influence 
•    Represent NMB, and provide relationship support, towards potential investors, government and other stakeholders

Job Purpose 
To coordinate all HIV prevention activities in the region that focus on priority and key populations including establishment of condom outlet centres 
Job summary: Prevention Field Officer will be responsible in development, planning and implementation of all HIV prevention activities. He/she shall work with community peer educators to identify and conduct HIV prevention strategies. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities 
1.    Coordinate identification of relevant prevention activities for key and priority populations; 
2.    Establish terms of service and coordinate recruitment of peer educators in Nyasa district; 
3.    Plan and engineer implementation of HIV prevention activities in the region including working with identified community peer educators; 
4.    Align peer educators for implementation of HIV prevention activities geared to achieve set targets; 
5.    Receive data and take lead in compilation for HIV prevention activities in the District; 
6.    Develop reports and success stories in the area of HIV prevention for experience sharing and documentation; 
7.    Provide technical backstopping in HIV prevention activities and strategies; 
8.    Participate in Monthly program management meetings and Quarterly Quality Improvement session. 
9.    Hold monthly Peer educators meetings to identify operational challenges, provide monthly allowance and other technical backup 
10.    Compile monthly Peer educators reports for management and for donor on time and submit to HDT Prevention Focal. 
 
Knowledge and Experience 
•    Diploma, advance diploma in Clinical courses, Nursing or Degree in social science with two years’ experience in HIV prevention 
•    Experience in Result Based Planning and Management. Experience in PEPFAR funded projects is an added advantage 
•    Organized, smart and good writing skills 
•    Ability to work flexible hours 
•    Knowledge of programme design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

Description 
Programme Officer Monitoring and Evaluation: will be responsible for developing, updating and implementing the learning, monitoring and evaluation system throughout TGNP; to facilitate the build-up of sustainable capacity in the feminist ideology and specific technical skills for activism and movement building and policy research and analysis through knowledge transfer, coaching and mentoring by the founding generation/s to the succeeding generations and youth among the TGNP membership and staff. 
 
A. Specific Responsibilities 
i) Designing and implementing a monitoring and evaluation plan including design of data collection tools, training of users in the use of the tools, 
ii) Facilitating the planning, coordination of programme/project activities, implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities including setting up/updating monitoring and evaluation systems 
iii) Review the performance indicators and reports produced by different stakeholders and suggest necessary changes; 
iv) Identifying priority quantitative data gaps in TGNP programme plans and operations and define key variables to be tracked in monitoring, evaluation and reporting to enhance TGNP ability to produce evidence based reporting on results achieved, 
v) Capturing data collected into appropriate data bases, store, process and generate monitoring evaluation and reporting outputs, 
vi) Producing regular reports on M&E plan and budget implementation 
vii) Planning, coordinating and participate in the strategic planning processes and specifically play an active role in the development of strategic programme frameworks (annually, three, five and beyond 
viii) Facilitating internal and external project evaluations and reporting on outcomes of such evaluation. 
 
B. Key qualifications and Experience 
A minimum of Master’s degree in Social Sciences or equivalent and four (4) years of working experience in a relevant field years’ minimum working experience. <li>Monitor, direct, check, and supervise the construction and development of network infrastructure of partners to ensure the quality and progress of telecommunications work</li>
<li>Make as-built documents, payment and settlement of telecommunications work</li>
<li>To support technical staffs in branches to solve all technical problems like generator break down, electrical problem.</li>
<li>Understanding ME knowledge and training to all technical staffs in branch.</li>

The applicant must possess both technical and soft skills to obtain this job. The technical skills should be supported by academic qualification and experience while the soft skills are based on attitudes and related competencies. 
 
The candidate must hold a Bachelor Degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, Graphic Designing or Communications from a recognized institution. She/he must have minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing at a financial institution. Experience in working with digital media and knowledge of legal web management are of added advantage. 
The soft skills required for this job include proven ability to interact and influence multiple sales channels, excellent communication skills, passionate about working with community-based projects and flexibility to work out of non-bank hours as need may arise.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 
• Organize and attend marketing activities and events to raise the Bank's Brand Awareness; 
• Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products and services on a variety of media (Social, Print, etc.); 
• Manage online marketing end communications activities of the Bank's Products and Services; 
• Ensure the content across in websites page, Facebook, Instagram is well-written, and utilized effectively to meet the Banks Marketing Strategy; 
• Prepare Content for the publication of marketing and oversee distribution; 
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities by listening, collect feedback from consumers and provide recommendations forbusiness growth; 
• Ensure the Bank's website pages and digital content (including Video) always is updated and appropriate; 
• Market the Bank by creating awareness on the products and services offered and promote cross selling by tacking all marketing and sales data, Maintain sales performance statistics and prepare reports for management usage;
