<br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><b><u>Purpose of the consultancy:</u></b><br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" />To do an external, independent evaluation of the project Emergency Relief to the affected IDP’s in the Kunduz city, Afghanistan, implemented by ORD (local partner) with the support of Danish People’s Aid (DPA, the Danish partner).<br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" />In November 2019, ORD and DPA began the implementation of the project mentioned above with the overall objective of contributing to saving lives and to increase the coping capacity of vulnerable populations affected by clashes between the Taleban and the Afghan Security Forces in Kunduz city of Afghanistan by May, 2020.<br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" />The project’s immediate objectives are:<br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" />Protecting IDPs in precarious situations affected by conflicts between non-governmental Armed Groups NAGs and Afghan Security Forces ASF. <br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" />The most vulnerable IDPs sustains their basic living conditions by receiving cash assistance. <br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" />· 738 most vulnerable households received a Multi-Purpose Cash (MPC) Assistance Package based on the Survival Minimum Expenditure Basket (SMEB) during two months are thus enable to address basic needs.<br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" />· Establishment of 15 IDP committees in order to help in identification, selection of vulnerable IDP committees and cash distribution for the conflict affected IDP’s.<br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" />The project ends by the 20 of May 2020, and the project partners therefore wish to undertake an external evaluation. <br style="list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="list-style: none; Main Task and Responsibilities:</u></b><br />
· Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and
improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes<br />
· Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation,
health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages<br />
· Responsible of recruitment cycle, and prepare employees for assignments by
establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.<br />
· Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management<br />
· Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating
procedures, including team restructuring and morale<br />
· Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs<br />
· Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics<br />
Minimum: Bachelor degree in Business Administration or relevant field.<br />
<br />
MBA or MSc is plus.<br />
5 years’ experience in Human Resources Managerial Role;<br />
<br />
working with NGOs would be a plus.<br />
Very Good (Writing and speaking) Arabic and English languages skills.<br />
Expert knowledge in Microsoft applications<br />
Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics<br />
Knowledge of HR systems and databases<br />
Full understanding of Syria Labour Law<br />

CCBRT aims to be the leading provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa and serves as healthcare social enterprise and through development programmes the community and the most vulnerable. Committed to preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities including obstetric fistula repairs and is currently constructing a Maternity and Newborn Hospital. In order to further strengthen our External Affairs Team, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced resource mobiliser, who can identify and engage new strategic partners, secures new donor funds but also is able to coordinate grants for various departments.<br />

<u><b>The role:</b></u></h2>
As a senior member of CCBRT’s External Affairs Team, (s)he works towards a vision of a sustainable CCBRT with accessible specialized health services by identifying and engaging new and existing strategic partners. S/he will pro-actively work with the clinical teams to translate the needs of the organization into donor language. His/her expertise will also be used for the coordination of the grants for various departments.<br />

<b><u>The candidate</u></b></h2>
Degree in Business, development studies, International Relations, Communications or related field<br />
Minimum of seven (7) years’ work experience in an international setting<br />
Solid experience in resource mobilization and grants management (including grants up to 5 min USD)<br />
Proven experience in development of logical frameworks and proposal writing<br />
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English); Swahili is an added advantage<br />
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint<br />
Drive and persistence<br />
Creative and out-of-the box thinker<br />
Strong analytical and research skills<br />
Excellent interpersonal skills<br />
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (internal/external)<br />
Able to deliver quality work on time (working with short deadlines)<br />
